Social Responsibility

We understand that our workers are indispensable elements of the group and we strive to give them the recognition they deserve. We work for the satisfaction and well-being of our staff. Thanks to our size, there is great proximity between the management and all the staff and vice versa.  We care about our environment, the partners and companies we work with. In this context, we have developed Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policies that make our commitment explicit. Among them, it is worth highlighting our commitment to raising awareness of CSR among SMEs and equality between men and women.

During 2009 Promaut was part of the "Resort" pilot project, organised by the Barcelona Provincial Council and the L'Hospitalet de Llobregat City Council to promote CSR among the city's SMEs. As a result of the pilot project, training was received on the subject and a plan of prevention and action was drawn up in the event of sexual harassment in the company

In 2011, the company also drew up a plan for equal opportunities between men and women in the workplace and, in accordance with the plan, an equality committee was set up within the company.

 Many actions have also been taken to further improve the workplace. These include the development of a manual for welcoming new staff and the drafting of rules of procedure and a code of conduct.

By moving the headquarters to Sant Boi de Llobregat and following the policy of responsibility towards our environment, the company got involved in local projects of social responsibility: it has been participating for two years in the project "Sant Boi Talent, undertaking in the classroom", which promotes the entrepreneurial culture among the students of the city's secondary schools, organised by the City Council of Sant Boi.

In addition, since June 2019, Promaut has collaborated with the city council and other companies in the municipality in the project "healthy company": how we can motivate and involve workers in healthy company programs to improve their physical, emotional and mental state.
